Long Lost Cross Stitch Finished

I just finished the lost cross stitch. I am thinking of making it into a wall hanging and I have placed some fabrics with it. I need ideas from you as to what looks best or if you think it would be better framed. My stash is not very big now and what I do have really does not go with this piece. HELP!

    Lovely stitchery. Are you going to make a mat out of the fabric? If so.. I think the dark calico with a cream colored frame would be very pretty.
