Another day
Just a quick post tonight because...guess what...I'm tired! LOL
John is doing OK. Today was his second day in rehab. He’s learning to use the walker and wheelchair safely. He’ll be using those for a couple of months until his leg is well enough to get his first temporary prosthesis. He learned how to go up and down stairs and how to get in and out of the tub and up and down off the couch or a chair. All simple things for the rest of us but all new challenges for John. His memory is still a problem, which could be due to the meds or it could be due to a head injury he got in the accident. He’s himself, but slow mentally. We hope that will all come back as he get the meds out of his system and heals and gets stronger. We'll just have to wait and see.
I hope his mental clarity come back as well.
