This is a very simple quilt/comforter that a friend ask me to make. I did the tying the way she wanted it done. I would have used more ties. It has flannel inside so it should wash up okay the way it is. She is going to use it as a raffle item for their senior's group.
Here are the few things I bought over the weekend in Amish Country. Just a little fabric, 4 zippers and some lace. I was being good. I usually do not buy fabric without a project in mind and this fabric covers at least 2 projects.
Glad to see you got the quilt done. Have fun with your next project! :0)
ReplyDeleteI have always liked the simple look of HSTs. I am sure that quilt will get a lot of use.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt....love your goodies.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that quilt will be very snuggly with the flannel inside it...very nice. Love how you can use restraint when you go to fabric stores! I can be pretty good UNLESS I'm at a store with great buys that isn't near to my house and I know I won't get there again anytime soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat scrappy quilt....Amish country must have been fun. With the 2x2's??
ReplyDeleteLovely finish, look forward to the next project
ReplyDeleteVia a Finish blog I found yours. It's so interesting to see what other quilters are working on. I like your scrappy quilt and with a flanell back it must be very soft and snuggly. Actually I am working with flanell too (both sides).
