A Little Stitching But More Crocus

The sun finally came back out after we had rain for several days and the Crocus opened up. I think our dear squirrels have eaten a few of them because the clumps were a lot larger last year. I may dig them and spread them out after they are done blooming but I think chicken wire over them may be a way to save them from being eaten. We will just have to wait and see.

This dark area by the yellow ones is where they have been digging. GRRR!

  5. The crocus are lovely. My daughter, who is in England, have posted pictures of the crocus that have opened up in her backyard.

Thank you for your wishes while I was not well. Thankfully, I am cleared of the fever and feeling much better.

  6. Hasn't the weather been wonderful. I see you live in Ohio too. Our purple crocuses are in bloom, in the front yard. Rarely see a squirrel there but they run rampant in the backyard.
