Finally a Finish

This is a bag that a friend ordered for her sister Norma. I had the stitching finished and had not decided what to do with it. She picked it and I put the name on it. She picked the fabric from my stash. I sewed batting between the outside when I sewed the side seams and then I put the lining in. It gives it some body. This is the first time I ever did it this way. It has 2 front pockets on the front. One is the white area with the stitching and the other is the green edged with rick-rack. Reason being I made the white one too small to put your hand all the way in. It would be great to stick your keys in. I felt she needed a little larger one too. I really like the way it came out.

  8. Oh, Tudy, this is darling! I love the greens. Congrats! on your wins, too. Did the spring cleaning, just got thru our blog lady gathering & then our Sherry stayed for a week so we travelled hither, tither & yon ... having withdrawals from so much fun.

Hope all is well with you.
