I think the flowers think it is spring even if the weather is still pretty cold. I took a walk outside today to see what was in bloom and these are what I found.
I just hope it gets a little warmer soon. And less rainy and windy.

2 More Weeks and Flowers
Two more weeks in the brace and then I am free until I have any issues with my knee. I am so happy that I will soon be free of it. The 2 weeks are to insure the crack in the knee cap is healed. The doctor is very pleased with my progress.
This is the rain yesterday in the birdbath. It rained most of the day.
Flowers in bloom at my house right now.

Sachet Balls and Magnets
Here are 2 of the first sachet balls I have made. I don't know what scent I will put on them yet but they would be neat to put in a drawer to make your things smell nice. They are very easy to make.
Here are two fridge magnets I made yesterday. I think the Yo-Yo's and buttons are really cute. They would dress up any refridgerator or file cabinet. If you have a magnetic board they would work for that too. I may make more of these for the fall craft show.

I am feeling better as far as my knee and ankles go. I will see the doctor about my knee on Tues. and I will let you know what he says. Today I am having some dental work done and this will be a continuing thing through the summer. I need a lot of work but when it is done I hope to have a nice smile. I know we all hate to go to the dentist but sometimes it just has to be. It is my turn in our house to get this all taken care of.
Have a great weekend.

April Birthday's and Door Wreath
This is the cake I made for our April Birthdays, we have 3. The candles were sparklers. I made the banners on the computer and strung them on cord between 2 wooden sticks. Everyone liked the cake. This is a wreath I stuck together for my front door. I bought the wreath and flowers on March 17 before I took my fall. I decided the other day to try to stick some ivy and the flowers in and I like the way it came out. I brightens up the front door.

Pretty Blooms at My House
Doing Well
I am doing well. My ankles are back to their normal color and are only a little tender today because of the rainy weather. My knee does not hurt but I am still wearing the brace most of the time. I have it off for therapy and to ride the bike at the Rec. Center and at home some of the time. I think it is doing great.

Feeling better
I am feeling somewhat better. My therapy is going well and I gave up the ankle braces this morning. Figured out that if I put a belt on my jeans and loop a strap with a buckle on it over my belt and through the top strap in my knee brace I can keep it from slipping down my leg when I walk. I did a half mile at the Rec. Center and then 2 hours later did therapy. I am tired tonight but feel good about what I did today. I also put on my own shoes and socks for the first time since I fell on the 17th. of March this morning. Everyone have a good week.

Either Snow or Rain
If it isn't snow it is rain. It has rained all day. Sometimes light sometimes thunder storms. This is out my back door. Will warm spring days ever come?
I am feeling a little better since my fall. My ankles are now a light green after being purple and dark green. They are still tender but getting better. My knee has hurt today but that is the first time since the bendable brace. I am doing my exercises from therapy daily and have therapy on Wed. this week. I am also walking laps at our local Rec. Center. I did 3 laps today with a friend who is recooping from knee replacement surgery.
