Gift Found a Home, Plus Yellow Houses

The little table topper Terry gave me for my birthday found a home on my small wall hanging rack. I love it there because I can see it all the time.

Finally got my yellow houses finished for March. Just in the nick of time. I have had too many things going on and just did not get around to them till today. Next ones will be for April I think they are green. This is from Terry's House block BOM.

This is what I am playing with right now with left over yarn. I think it will be a lap throw for my hair dresser. She loves purple. That will be one more gift done when I get it finished. The granny squares go fairly quickly. I am over casting them together.

Bek's Notebook Cover

This is the notebook cover I gave Bek for her birthday. I hope she likes it and uses it. I showed you a sneak peek in Jan.

What Is Growing

I have never had this many plants in bloom at this time of the year. March may have Crocus towards the end of the month but this is just crazy.

My Forsythia have never bloomed this much in all their lives. I have 3 bushes in different places in my yard and this year they are all full of blooms.

The Peony are getting tall already.

These are Forget-me-knot's and are a bright blue. They really spread.

My Bleeding Heart is in bloom already too.

Another large Finish Gift

Here is the third and last large finish that I can't show till way later in the year. I did not know if I liked these colors together but they do work. Glad all 3 are finished.

Now to start something a lot smaller in size.

St. Patrick's Day and Flowers

I want to wish you all a Happy St. Patrick's Day. I know it is a day early here but better early than late.

These are the flowers in bloom right now.

I do not know the name of this one. None of the leaves around it belong to it.

This one just started coming up last year. Do not know where it came from or what it is.

Half Eaten Crocus and New Tote

Look at the leaves and petals of the flowers. I think the squrills have been having a party eating them.

These were not eaten too bad. I love the striped petals.

I made a new tote bag today because I needed a larger one.
This is the outside and it almost covers the back of my chair seat. I had the fabric from when I made a purse from it.

This is from pre-quilted fabric I had in my stash. This is the inside with 2 pockets.

Lots of Pictures

Sunday here in northeast Ohio was like spring and I went out to see what was growing. This is not normal this early in the year. These are Daffodils.

Here are my Iris starting to grow. Way too early for them.

Daffodils in bud. Hope they do not get frozen out.

I think these are my Magic Lilies. They grow their leaves early and then they die off and the blooms come later in the summer.

Chives pushing through the leaves.

Now for my Crocus. I think the Black Walnut tree next door is killing off my flowers in this bed. It has already killed off several other plants. I guess I should mark them and move them somewhere else.

This one looks like something ate the tips of the petals off.

This was sunrise Monday morning. I love sky pictures. They can be so beautiful.

Went to an open house where we bought our lawn tractor last year and this was the new farm tractor they had on display. Hubby is at the bottom right and the tire is as tall as he is.
