Sunrise and Charming Star Quilt Blocks

This was sunrise yesterday.  Hubby went outside and took it.

Here are the next 8 Charming Star blocks with the first 8 laying to the bottom right.  I do not have room to lay all 16 out.  9 more of these to make and then 24 9 patch blocks and I will be ready to lay it out at Terry's and then get the top put together.  It will fit my double size bed.

Amish Country and Purse.

Here are the pictures I took in Amish Country yesterday. This is the sky looking east at Yoder's Bargain Barn.

Looking west.

Big frog in a flower bed.

These deer's were at Hershberger's Antiques south of Charm.  I have never seen a deer marked in this way.  These are does.

Here is the buck who is in the same pen as the does.

A basket I found yesterday.

Changed the front of my purse again.  I made the purple doily.  This purse is of a fabric I can glue to and then pull it off to change it.  I just sewed the button in the middle of the doilies and then glued it to my purse.

Tree, Sunset and Doll Quilts

This is the tree on the side street to the north of us. I took it out of our living room window.

This is sunset at one of our parks on Sat. night.

Here it is almost gone.

Two Post In One Day

Skies at sunrise yesterday.

Since I got my sewing machine back yesterday I did some sewing this morning.  I now have 8 Charming Star quilt blocks finished.  The machine is working great.  Better than it has in a long time.

I want to wish my hubby a happy 48th Anniversary today.  On our wedding day we had some sun shine and then rain and it ended with snow.  The years have not always been easy but we have made it through them.  Terry was 5 1/2 when we got married.

Sewing Machine

Sewing machine is home and running great.  Not to costly to have it fixed.  It is running better than it has in a long time.  Just wanted you all to know I will be back sewing in the morning.

Herman Died Plus Flowers

I killed Herman ( Christmas Bread Starter ) today.  I baked 5 batches of bread.  2 batches of blueberry, 1 of apple and 2 of banana.  They are all in the freezer now.  I have 60 small loaves and 10 regular loaves.  All ready for Christmas giving.  There are some in the door too.

Here are the flowers I arranged for the church alter next week for our anniversary.  They are not real but sure look like they are.  I can enjoy them longer this way.

Sick Machine

My sewing machine has been acting up so it was taken it to be checked out this afternoon.  I sure hope it is not serious and not too costly.  But no sewing for a short.  I guess I can cut out block parts for doll quilts and my Charming Star Quilt.

More sewing when I get the machine back.

This and That

Here are the breads I baked on the 30th of Sept.  I forgot to post them.  Only one more baking on Fri. and all my Christmas breads will be in the freezer.

Here are 8 button flower pins I made the other day.  Sorry it is a little blurry.

The leaves are turning on the neighbors tree.  I love fall color but not the colder weather and rain we are getting.

I have been busy making all my Christmas gifts that I can not show.  They are all made now so I can go back to doll quilts and my Charming star quilt blocks.
