This is the pillow top I made from this stitchery. I am going to have my daughter Terry machine quilt it for me and then I will finish it into a pillow cover. She also helped me with the fabric choices.
This is a little bag I was playing around with today. It is the first time I have ever put a zipper in on a curve. I really do not mind putting zippers in and have used them in many ways in the past.
both are really pretty. Love the colours for the cushion
ReplyDeleteThe pillow top came out great! Love the little bag too! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty pillow top and love your bag...
ReplyDelete2 cute projects....I have to attempt zippers more also!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitcheries Tudy. Both the pillow top and the bag are lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove both things. I've never done a zipper on a curve, either. Was it tricky at all?
ReplyDeleteThat pillow top is beautiful! Your blog background matches it!! The bag is very pretty, too! I don't mind zippers either, but I've never put one in a curve either.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful projects. I can't wait to see the pillow finished.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the curved zipper pouch.
What pretty projects, Tudy! The pillow top is ready for the lilacs of spring. It will look wonderful when quilted.
ReplyDeleteTudy, that is such a pretty stitchery that you have done on the block for a pillow. I will be interested to see it finished. Also like your little zippered case. I think I recognise that stitchery from last year's Stitcher's Angel projects. Am I right? I'm pretty sure because I think I started it and it's in my "to be finished" pile. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThose are two beautiful projects! Love the embroidery on them -- so cute.
