More Hexies and New Carpet

Here are the next batch of hexies added to Terry's quilt top.  It is starting to take shape.  I need to do more white hexies before I can add the next row.  Then I can do the last 10 flowers to take to her on Father's Day so she can decide how she wants the rest of it laid out.

This is one of the small bedrooms we call the basket room because I use to make baskets in it.  The stick down tile cracked and chipped this winter from some shifting I guess.  So we decided to put an area rug over it.  This is a indoor/outdoor all recycled material rug.  It sure makes it look different.  We did not go wall to wall but just the main area where we walk.  Too much other stuff to do it any other way and it was less than $20.  That is a good buy as far as I am concerned.

  1. This is looking so good Tudy...

  2. The carpet looks great in there! And of course I love the hexies! Thanks so much for doing them for me! :0)

  3. That will be a lot softer on the feet now. The hexagons are coming along very nicely
