More Signs of Spring

My first Daffodils are in bloom. I have several different kinds but these are the first to bloom.

This is my small white Lilac which was planted from a start from a friends farm. Last year the rabbits ate it off. This year they ate other things so this is doing well with buds starting. I do not know if they are flowers or just leaves but I am happy either way.

Giveaway Win and Some Stitchings

This is the pattern I won from Lyn Briggs at Moore Patchwork and Quilting.
It is Earl Grey and I love the stitched tea pots. I have a friend who is a real tea drinker so I will use the pattern to make her something. Thanks Lyn I really love it.

These are a few more circles stitched from Cheryl at Willowberry Designs. They will also be made into sachets but these I stitched a chain stitch on the circle. I hope to get them made before too long.

Another Sign of Spring

I do not know the name of these pretty purple flowers but I love them. They are very small but come up right after the Crocus are about finished blooming.

Hopefully the Last

This is what we woke up to this morning. It started snowing last night about 5:30 PM. My poor flowers are covered, but they will come back as soon as it melts. No more snow please.

Finishes

Here are 3 sachets that I put together yesterday. They are about 3 inches square. The designs are from Cheryl at Willowberry Designs. I have more stitched but not made up yet.

This is another set for the Christmas box. My hands are always busy with something. I love this pink and it was from yarn I already had in my stash.

Birthday Surprise and More Crocus In Bloom

I got this box in the mail today. What a surprise for me. Marydon from Blushing Rose sent it to me for my birthday. I just love it and the cup and saucer are so pretty. The card holds a tea bag. How neat is that.

These are my latest Crocus to bloom. I love them side by side. Another beautiful Spring day here in Ohio.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I am wishing you all a great day. The weather here is going to be sunny and warmer. Very Spring like. It should be a great day.

A Little Stitching But More Crocus

The sun finally came back out after we had rain for several days and the Crocus opened up. I think our dear squirrels have eaten a few of them because the clumps were a lot larger last year. I may dig them and spread them out after they are done blooming but I think chicken wire over them may be a way to save them from being eaten. We will just have to wait and see.

This dark area by the yellow ones is where they have been digging. GRRR!

Not Much Sewing

I have been busy with other things and have not gotten much sewing done. I have to get busy this week because I only have 1 small finish so far this month for my OPAM list. I have done a lot of stitching but now I need to get them into finished projects. Wish me luck this week.

This is the sunrise this morning.

This is what I saw when I came home this morning. My first real sign of Spring. My Crocus are in bloom. This is just the first of many to come.

Spring May Be Coming and A Finish

I found these poking their heads out of the ground today. Maybe Spring is coming soon. I think these are both different kinds of Daffodils.

This is a little pillow I finished this morning. I think it came out very nice.
