Doll Quilts

This is the last of my doll quilts for the Giving Doll for this year.  My personal goal was 10 each month and I just finished the last one for Dec.  That makes 120 for the year 2015.  Sorry the picture is not better but it is very cloudy here today.

On another note hubby had major back surgery yesterday in Cuyahoga Falls.  The surgery went well but he is having a rough time with the pain meds upsetting his stomach.  When we left at 12:30 PM he was still not feeling very good.  I am sure once they get his meds sorted out he will come along well.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve was at Eric's with Terri and Bek.

Terry's pillow to go with her bedroom if she wishes.  There were other gifts here too that I did not get pictures of.  Some of my pictures were not too good that day.  I think the outside light was coming in behind most of the people.

This years card and ornament.  I always make my own cards and add something to the front.  This year it was buttons.  I also make over 20 ornaments to give away.

Sunrise and Flowers

This was the sunrise last Wed. on our way to Akron.

My Primrose think it is spring.

So do my Daffodils.

Last year with all the snow the rabbits ate off my bush Lilac, so I decided it needed a little protection this year.  Hopefully this will keep them from eating it and I will get some flowers in the spring.

Our Christmas tree this year.  I used my wide lace as garland this year.  All most all hand made ornaments.  The bear on top is an angel I made and it is not leaning, it is just the way it looks.

I did this doorway hanging a few years ago and have to put it up each year.

A Little of This and That

Here are my other 2 Christmas Cactus.  This is a white one.

This one is a yellow/peach color.

Our first snow the other day.  Not very much and it was gone very soon.

I delivered my Nov. Doll Quilts to the Giving Doll on Wed. and they surprised me with this beautiful vinyl tote bag.  They said I could bring my quilts to them in it.  That was 110 doll quilts so far this year.  I will deliver Dec.'s quilts in Jan because they are close for the holidays next week.

This is a gift pillow I made this morning from the extra star block I had made.  I like the way it came out.

November Doll Quilts

Here are the 10 doll quilts for November.  That makes 110 this year and a total from last year to today of 168.  I can see all the happy faces of the boys and girls that get the doll in a tote with a quilt or blanket.

Nativity

We had to ask for a lot of help setting up the church nativity this year because hubby is on crutches again.  His back/leg are acting up and we are just waiting till next weeks tests help the doctor decide what the next step will be.  This is the 5th time he has had this issue over the years.

Crazy Christmas Cactus

This Christmas Cactus has been blooming since before Halloween.  I bought it last year for Christmas.  I think it is a little early but it also was still blooming last year in April.  I think it likes my south window.

Oct. Doll Quilts

Here are my 10 Oct. doll quilts.  I am just 1 day late getting them finished.  I will deliver them Tues.  This makes 100 so far this year.  Which means 100 Happy and smiley kids.

Christmas Breads

Here are the last of my Christmas breads and they are all wrapped and in the freezer.  I did orange, cherry, banana, raisin and chocolate.  A total of  65 small loaves and 12 large loaves.  This years flavors are: Blueberry, Banana, Raisin, Cherry, Pineapple, Chocolate and Orange.

Hubby was cleaning up the mess of acorns from our very large Oak tree.  This is the very end of the job.  He got 2 large trash cans full this time.  He had 10-- 5 gal. buckets the last time and there are more on the ground again.  

Bottle cover I made for a friend.

I was gifted some yarn so I made this baby sweater and hat.  I do not know what I will be doing with them yet but I used the yarn.
