Here is what is growing and blooming here right now.
This is my red Peony I showed you the other day. It is really growing fast.
A friend ask me if I would sew up some doll quilts she had made into kits. They are for The Giving Doll group. She gave me 14 kits and these are the first 7 finished. They are 24 inches square and just have a layer of cotton fabric in the center. I sewed the 9 blocks together then I machine quilted them and put the binding on them. Other people make the cloth dolls and a bag to give them in.

Baby Quilt and Snow
Here the baby quilt is a top.
Close up of the fabric.
Woke up to this and was not very happy this morning.
Finished baby quilt. I tied it with yellow floss because it is softer and makes smaller knots. I brought the backing around to the front for the binding. I am pleased with how it came out.

Quilts and Flowers
Here are the last 2 quilts I finished where they are going to stay.
This is the baby quilt I am working on now to use up more fabric.
Flowers in bloom now.
This is my red Peony and it has 15 ends coming up through the ground. It gets stronger every year.

Quilt and Flowers
Here is my Disappearing 9-Patch all finished. It is in the basket now to be washed soon. I am very happy with it. And I am proud that I did it all by myself. No help from Terry on this one. But she has been a great help in the past.
My Crocus in bloom. I showed some of these before but now they are in full bloom.
My Grape Hyacinths.
This was just 1 Hyacinth last year.
My Primrose had a very hard winter and sure shows it. But it is blooming.

Disappearing 9-Patch
I have my Disappearing 9-Patch top finished. I plan on getting it pinned together this afternoon. I will then tie it with #10 crochet thread doubled. That is my way of finishing a quilt. I will also bring the backing around to the front for binding. I can no longer quilt a quilt. I am proud that I have had no help with this quilt at all except hubby telling me it looked good. I use to do patchwork all the time with no other help. That was before cutting mats and rotary cutters. We used cardboard templates back then. It is much easier now.

Crocus
Here are my Crocus that are blooming right now. I had many more but I think the Chipmunk's ate them. I may get more to plant this fall and see how my luck goes.
I am working on my disappearing 9-patch and should have the top together before long. Then I need to get the back for it.

Nine-Patch Quilt
My nine-patch quilt for my bed is finished. My bedroom is to small to get a picture of it on my bed but here it is. I think it will be a winter quilt since the inside is a fleece blanket. I am very happy with the way it came out.

WII Bowling, Spring and Cats
We have been bowling on the WII we got for Christmas almost every day and some days twice. We have been getting scores in the 200's but today Dale (hubby) really surprised me. My game was not great but his sure was.
This is what I found coming up from their winters nap.
My very first Crocus. The rest of them are under leaves yet.
2 of the neighbor hood cats. Dark one is probably a year old now and the yellow one was born late last summer. I love watching them play.
