Some of my Christmas finishes

Here are the last of the things I mad during the year for Christmas gifts.  This is a car seatbelt cover you can use to keep the belt from rubbing your neck.  It is a potholder with velcro to hold it in place.

I made 4 of these crocheted snowman candy dishes for family and friends.  They are just over a round vase.

This was for our coffee drinker Terri.

A warm winter scarf.

A dress scarf.

A adult hat with a crocheted flower.

Every year I make a ornament for family and friends and this was this years .  I made a lot of them in different colors.

I also make all my own cards and this is the one for this year.  After printing them I add things.  This year it was googly eyes, ribbon and Buttons.  I have an idea for the next one already.  My brain never seems to stop having ideas.

Busy Time

I know I have not posted in awhile but I have been very busy here.  Here are my Christmas decorations we did earlier this month.  This is my fiber optic tree.

Here it is with it lit up.

Above our TV.

Dale decorating our tree the first time.

Tree done the 2nd time.  Because of a faulty wire the pre-lit tree had to have all the decorations taken off and Dale removed all the hundreds of light sockets.  It took him 3 hours and what a mess but we love the look of the tree and it cost less to just add lights we already had to the tree.

I made Ava a winter hat.  She was not here for the picture so I used my bear.

Pins and Mats

Here are 3 Rick-rack flower pins I made.  It takes almost a full package to do each one.  They are so different and make nice gifts.

Dale ask me to make a small gift for a friend who loves Eagles.  I made some mug mats she can use next to her chair.

50th Anniversary

We celebrated our 50th anniversary on the 15th and both kids fed us.  That is always good.  But Terry surprised us with a 1 night stay in Amish Country at Charm Countryview Inn B&B.  It was so nice.  Here are pictures on our way down.  It was a cool and windy day but the sun was shining most of the time.  Click to enlarge the picture.

Here is the entrance to the B&B

This is it.

Decorations on the porch.

Views from the porch.

Our room.

The dining room.  They have 15 rooms and everyone eats breakfast at the same time.  It was so good and we ate more than we should have.

Stopped on the way home at Hershberger's Truck Patch.  Pumpkins of all kinds and squash too.

They have farm animals and some you can pet.  This is an oxen.

Hubby with a very large work horse.

Baby goats keeping warm under a heat lamp.

Baby pigs.

Goats on the roof.  They go up a set of stairs and then people can send food up to them by a pulley system.

View from the top of a hill.

Hubby by the van with a beautiful tree beside him.

It was a great trip.  Thanks again Terry.
