Our Parade

I think most of the pictures are self explanatory. We live in a small town so it is not a major parade.

Tomatoes and Flowers

These are the 2 tomatoes we planted a few weeks ago. It is the total of our garden space. Our neighbor shares from his big garden with us.

My first Day Lilies to bloom.

We planted white and double purple Petunia's in our assortment of pots this year. This is a close up of them.

These are the first of my Sundrop's to bloom. There will be many more.

Hubby made this basket many years ago to sit on this Pine Tree stump.

I now have 6 light pink Poppies in bloom.

I do not remember the name of this plant but it gets larger every year. I may have to split it next year when it firsts comes up.

Finishes and Flowers

Here are 3 more dish cloths that I have finished. I am using yarn I had on hand. I love the colors and the cream row really sets the colors off I think.

I have shown you my large Bleeding Heart earlier this spring but it is still in bloom and larger than ever. Hubby is standing behind it to show you just how big it is. It seems to grow larger each year.

I bought a pot of mixed Poppies several years back and this pinkish white one is one color. I have not noticed any others around our area that color.

This orange is also from the same pot when we separated them.

This is one of my old fashion White Peonies up close.

This is just on of the many Peonie plants I have and it is in full bloom right now. I am waiting for the pink one to open up yet.

Mailed My first PIF and It Arrived

This is my first PIF that I mailed out to Heather at The Tarnished Tatter. She got it yesterday. I am so glad she liked it. My #2 will be mailed soon. I only have 1 more to make and it will go out too. I love sending gifts to people who will enjoy using them.

Finishes, Giveaway and Flowers

There are 2 finishes in this picture which is my giveaway for hitting 400 posts in just over 16 months. I guess I love to blog and talk too.

A close up of my giveaway. It contains 2 dishcloths, 2 mug rugs for under your coffee mugs or whatever. One tatted bookmark, 1 pair of tatted earrings (which you could take apart and use for something else if you did not want to wear them) and 1 stitched sachet which opens on the back so you can add your favorite aroma. I am sure there may be other things added but I will figure that out before I mail it to the winner. The giveaway will last till May 29th and I will draw the winner on the 30th. Please do not pass it around as I would like it to go to one of my regular followers. Please make sure I have a way to contact you. Good luck.

My Columbine are in 3 colors this year. White, Purple and a pink color.

This is my Peony and Iris bed. At least that is what is in bloom right now.

This Iris is one of my many favorites. It is more blue than light purple. I have not seen any like it around.

A Little Bit of Everything

This is Amish Country here in Ohio after a mornings rain. I love the puffy clouds in the sky. This was today.

This is what I bought, besides food to bring home. The flag was only $5 at Zink's. That is where I bought all of this.

This is a picture of the Good Year Blimp I took several weeks ago on the way to my sons. It was crossing the highway in front of us. Just thought you might like to see it.

This is the scarf I made with the Spa yarn I won from Sweet P a few weeks back. It is the softest yarn I have ever worked with and I love the way it works up. I thank you again for the giveaway. I have 2 more skeins to work up. I can't wait to find time to start them.

This is how I did the ends. I just made up the shells.

More flowers. I am still waiting for 1 more Iris to open and that will be soon I hope. I have 3 different colors of yellow. But I love the purples the best.

Flowers

This is the flower bed in the north yard of my home. The flowers are almost all in bloom right now. I do have at least 3 more Iris in this bed that are not yet out.

I have shown this Clematis before when it had 1 bloom. It really grew a lot more this year and I cannot believe how many blooms it has.

This is the first bloom on this Clematis. It is on the other corner of the fence. It has more buds to open yet.

These are an old Iris and are a lot smaller than the newer ones.

This is the whole clump of them. I saw my first Humming bird today at the feeder.

This is my pride and joy. I got this Peony from my neighbor and it was not in very good shape. This year it has 5 buds and this is the first to open. It is not fully open but I had to take its picture.

This is my lighter yellow Iris. It also is the first of many blooms to open.

Iris and Peony together.

These plants are in front of my home. I think this is a Geranium of some type. It really spreads.

These are my Chives. There are Sun Drops beside them that are not in bloom yet. Also my bunnies.
