Afghan and Hubby

This is a lap afghan I made for a friend.

This is hubby using his bone stimulater that is suppose to help make his bones grow faster around the metal they put in his back.  He has rods and 3 large screws in his back.  His surgery went great but afterwards his body did not like all that went on and decided not to work right.  He is still using a catheter but hopefully that will go away soon.  He spent 19 days in the hospital and is home with home nurses.  He is feeling a little stronger each day but has a long way to go yet.

Hubby and This and That

Hubby came home on Sat. and has started improving a little daily.  He has home nurse and home therapy to help.  He has doctor's appointments in the next week too.  It is very nice to have him home.

We had a visit from the nasty black birds a couple of weeks ago.  Can you see them over the field across the street.

This was a snow event last week.  It was pretty heavy but a fluffy snow.

This is my white Violet that has been blooming for many months now and just keeps going.  I do not mind that at all.  I love Violet's.

This is a small baby/doll blanket I made while hubby was in the hospital.

This is a close up.  It has pink, green and a brown in the yarn. I had never seen that combo in a baby yarn before.  I love the way it turned out.

Hubby

His surgery went well but after that he had a lot of other issues with his body not wanting to work well. After 11 days he has finally been transported to our local hospital rehab unit.  It will be so much easier for me to now visit him.  He has a long way to go because he is very weak but he is now feeling like talking and can visit with us.  Keep him in your prayers.
