No Get up and Go

No get up and go, it all got up and went around here lately.  I guess this allergy/asthma thing has gotten me down.  It is not as bad as it was a few months ago but just will not go away.  I am more than feed up with it.

This is a Puff Ball mushroom in my yard.  It is about as big as a kids ball.

Hopefully this week I can get myself in gear again.

PIF, Book and Clouds

I got my PIF from Jane Saturday.  I love everything.  I got a felted purse/bag, a crochet hook roll, a corner bookmark, a pincushion, a hanging towel and 3 lavender envelopes.  What a nice PIF.  I told her I would post it yesterday but after baking my 2nd round of Christmas breads I did not feel up to getting on the computer.

I finished this book last week.  I read the first of the series awhile back.  They are very good books.

These are some clouds taken Sat. morning.  Nice fall clouds.

This is the sunset that same night.  The dark blue at the top are a cloud bank.

Visited Terry Today

These are the beautiful clouds on the way to Terry's.

Visited Terry's today and had to go to her neighbor Jo's to visit the goats.  They think they are lap babies. This one is not too big yet.

This one is a little older and loves Terry's attention.

It still loves Terry's lap too.

Today

This morning it was a little foggy over the fields across the road.

And today I started baking my Christmas Breads.  This is 4 batches of Friendship Starter Banana bread.  It makes 5 small loaves to a batch or 2 large loaves.  My house still smells great.  The first batch was in the oven at 8:30 AM.  All are wrapped and in the freezer now.

Fair Day

When we left for the Wayne County Fair yesterday it was not foggy but on the way down you could see the fog laying low over some of the fields.  The pictures are blurry because I took them out the side window of our van.  Lots of pictures.

This steer was getting blown dry after a bath for a photo shoot.

This girl was waiting to show her sheep.  We watched her class and she won first place.

Momma hen with her chicks.  There is one dark brown in the bunch.

Some of the quilts at the fair.

This is a cross stitch picture.  Sorry for the reflection.

More Tape Measures

I sold all of the tape measures I had so I have made 6 more to have on hand.  I will be making more as people buy them.  I can add any of these colors of flowers.  I will also make them to order as needed.

Christmas Breads

I just started Herman for my Christmas breads.  In 10 days my house will smell great with all the baking.  And every 10 days after that till I have enough for all my gifts.  I freeze them after they are baked and give them out at Christmas.  Everyone loves them.

Little of This and That

We put out some old sweet corn that was not good for us to eat to see what the squirrels would do with it.  We knew they loved field corn.  Well these 2 pictures tells it all.  Besides they grabbed it and took it up the big oak tree.  Later the cobs fell to the ground empty.  I could not get a picture of them hauling it up the tree but it was a funny site.

Here are 2 bottle covers I made for a friend. They fit her water bottle just right.

I made these tape measures for a friend.  She ordered 10 for Christmas gifts.  I made 14 so she could pick from them the ones she wanted.  The rest will be for sale.
