This is the first machine quilting I have done with my new walking foot (even feed foot). I did not do much but wanted to make sure the foot worked well on my machine. I am not very good at piecing either, so I will need a lot of practice with both. This is a mug rug, but it is a little longer so I could use the fabric I pulled out of my stash. I am sure some of you have seen this fabric panel MANY years ago. I think Terry gave it to me when she cleaned out her stash back when. I used it because I wanted to play and see if I could do it. I love the new foot. No slideing or puckering.
This is the puzzle we just finished. It was 1000 pieces. It was fun but I think the table will be without one for a little while because I need to make birthday gifts.
How cute!!!! Did you enjoy doing the machine quilting?
ReplyDeleteI LOVE a good puzzle, but am afraid if I open one it will occupy all of my time until I finish it. SIGH!!!

ReplyDeleteHey Tudy,
ReplyDeleteI was on BlueRidgeBoomer's blog and saw your reference of Northeast Ohio...I grew up in Tiffin so I needed to stop over and say a proper 'hello'...I love your puzzle; which is what we'd do during Ohio winters growing up-what else is there to do?
Anyway, I hope you can visit as well...
